Come with me

To a place

By the sea

Where the sun

Shines high above

And the sand

Is so soft

Under your feet

take a moment

Close your eyes

Feel the breeze

through your hair

and the warmth

on your skin

It's not much

But it's enough

All you need

To let go

Just sit back

Take deep breaths

Imagine the scent

Of salty sea

on the breeze

Imagine the sound

Of the waves

lapping and crashing

The children playing

In the distance

But not far

Sip some water

Let some drip

On your skin

Release the tension

You've been holding

Like a dog

On a leash

Inside your mind

And your stomach

Offload the stress

From your jaw

Unwind and recline

Nothing to worry

nothing to fear

Is it real?

Does it matter?

Let yourself go

Recline and relax

Let your mind

take the lead

follow its path

where it goes

enjoy the peace

cherish the quiet

Revive your spirit

Ready for tomorrow

And whatever comes

Author's Note: I decided to just write and let the words take me where they wanted. There was very little editing done to this, because I wanted there to only be a very little gap between the words coming from my mind and onto the screen.

This is as much for me as well as anyone else. If it helps, I'm glad.
