Colours

Of your soul

We are only as bright as the colour we perceive ourselves to be

Some days I’m red,

Filled with vibrance and passion,

Filled with love and strength,

Along with compassion,

Determination and desire,

And full of energy,

Power and vitality,

All that is sensory,

Some days I am yellow,

Bright like the sun,

Full of happiness,

Adventure and fun,

Enlightenment of mind

and creativity within,

Full of joys,

Ready for spring,

Some days I’m green,

Just like nature,

Full of freshness,

Sharp like a razor,

Others days I’m blue,

Just like the sea and sky,

Deep and abundant,

In the heavens flying high,

Full of wisdom,

And loyalty too,

Depth and calmness,

And being true,

Some days I’m purple,

Royal and regal,

With wealth and magic,

Flying like an eagle,

Some days I’m black,

With restraint and power,

Not to be evil in any hour,

Some days it’s grey,

Hard to see the merge,

Of black and white it’s contained,

in the middle on the verge,

The grey is the overlap,

Between one and the next,

A black and white view,

In the middle of the rest,

When I’m White I’m pure,

Innocent and free,

Full of faith,

And spirituality,

So you see how colours affect us?

Yet most are colour blind,

We don’t see the association,

We don’t look inside,

So how do we determine,

Who we are to be,

Just open yourself up,

And view your colour and you’ll see.
