Colours Beyond the Sky

A burst of colours filled the air,
Like dreams escaping into light.
They painted every passing cloud,
With shades too beautiful to write.

Ruby rivers softly flowed,
Beside bright oceans made of blue.
Purple drifted into gold,
Creating worlds forever new.

The stars applauded from afar,
While planets gently spun around.
Every colour held a voice,
Without the need for any sound.

Hope became a beam of light,
Stretching further than my eyes.
Carrying every hidden wish,
Across the endless painted skies.

I followed where the colours danced,
With childlike wonder in my soul.
Every step revealed a path,
That somehow made my spirit whole.

No darkness lingered very long,
For every shadow found its glow.
Even sorrow changed its hue,
Into colours soft and slow.

Time stood still for just a while,
As heaven brushed the evening air.
Leaving tiny sparks behind,
Like blessings scattered everywhere.

When the colours drifted home,
Their beauty stayed inside my heart.
For once you’ve walked that shining road,
Its light will never truly part.
