I’ve been green with envy

I’ve been red and full of hate

I’ve been black, lost and empty

I’ve been blue and accepted my fate

That was all in years now past

Today I’m shining bright

I’ve learned, I’ve grown, I’m so much more

Inside the black has turned to white

Accept the things you cannot change

Embrace each passing colour

Keep the people close that make you shine

Discard those that wish you duller
