The colors of the rainbow splash across the bluest skies
They show themselves as springtime peeks and in a newborn's eyes
They dance across the water and leap through forests' green
And sometimes, in their loneliness, may even go unseen
But never, ever, ever do the colors fail to shine
Within the hearts of those with opened eyes and open minds
They each flash brightly in their way, though only one can light the day
Through snow and storms, and come what may, the brightest is just one
When I see it, when I feel it, it covers like the sun
That yellow... vivid, bright, and daring!
That yellow... glowing in its caring
That yellow... dreaming of the warmest days
When winter dies and moonlit skies attract us and amaze
I'll shine on like that yellow, for no other suits me well
When darkness tries to drown out light, the truth will always tell
When bitter coldness presses down upon a frightened chest
That yellow sunlight still shines through, bringing all the best
Keep pressing on, keep moving right, till every fear is gone
I want to be the yellow, to bring the yellow, shining like the dawn
