Colors

My Journey and Discovery

I have been diagnosed with Mild Protan Colorblindness

Colors are a major part of life no doubt. Truly something we couldn't live without.

A red apple, green grass, the blue sky way up high. A magnificent sight when it meets the eye.

Though they come in many shades and hues, there many of these I cannot use.

There are many colors I've yet seen, from simple brown to calming green.

It's an interesting fact, one that is genetically backed. I am colorblind, and yes, it has me in quite a bind.

I'm a lover of colors, this is no secret. Though, I can't fully enjoy art, my only regret.

When mixed together, you often see the colors of the world. From works of art to the flower in the hair of a pretty girl.

I see these differently, for my eyes work somewhat inefficiently.

So, despite my unique perception, I don't fall victim to this self-made misconception.

I enjoy the colors of life, and walk happily with a peppy stride.
