Colors of a future
A challenge of growth into a prideful truth
By Darby KeenerPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

In the depth of my future I see an aura of light. Light that heals, light that guides, light that makes my colors flow, colors of a summer day as a child to the colors of petals that lay underneath my feet.
All of this to wash away the scars of the past that have broke me, scars of prejudice, scars of a broken song I haven’t brought myself to sing. One by one the colors of life take form and I am forever changed.
