If everyday you ate rainbow colored food
Apples, carrots, bananas, spinach, blueberry pies
And absorbed into your eyes all the sunset colors in the sky
Watched blue finches in flight
listened to red crossbills sing with delight
Dressed your body, drenched your senses
Engaged your mind with thoughts both colorful and kind
To find real bliss in your body, where it’s never been found
Reject the subtle mind visions, your mind engages in
They are just aerobic exercises to understand and explain
The things that make you excited while seeking a higher plane
To imagine real bliss your mind must first learn to submit to it
Inhale, red roses, orange poppies, yellow daffodils,
Posing against a wall green with Ivy tendrils, drink it in
Until you’ve reached the mighty goal of unthought
That all-pervading, Absolute stillness,
hidden on the other side of what is known
and never will until Gods Grace is revealed
Did you think God wouldn’t provide our perfectly
Healthy body without a cure for a color blind mind.
