These seasons change

I close my eyes and I remember the blue mornings, the season's fog blanketing the city. Heater up, windows down, something felt so surreal about freezing and thawing simultaneously—controlled chaos. Headlights like drops of paint in the gray atmosphere, a song on repeat, the worries of my destination eons away.

I close my eyes and remember orange evenings, the sunset's picturesque beauty barely kissing the moonlight. Birds singing their farewell to the day, crisp Autumn air filling their lungs, the crescendo of notes falling on the trees to make dew in the morning. The bittersweet goodbye to a honeycrisp season.
