Color is Pride: The True Colors Challenge

Color me in with different shades.

Change my hair, my nails, or my blood.

Uncover my rainbow being.

Show me all the ways I reflect light.

Rust and blue on the inside.

Soft beige on the outside.

Color me in.

Toenails red, fingernails chipped with pigment too.

Sprinkled, salt and pepper hair.

Color me in.

Lavender sensitivity.

Forest-green ambition.

Color me in.

Color me in and what do you see?

Am I a paint-by-number, clear and concise?

or Am I an Impressionist surface, muddled and nebulous?

Hues change and spectrums bend.

Even I don’t know all the colors that I am.

Maybe I am all of them: Black or White, whichever.
