A Riddle of Identity

Stretched across a chasm inside,

My voice swells with rhythmic tide.

Segregating space into quarters benign,

The structure of time is mine to define.

.- .-. .

Between echoes that dance 'cross caverns span,

Secrets spill; fist o'er fist, hand o'er hand.

Sculpting moments with words untold,

Stories of magic with narratives bold.

-.-- --- ..-

With each verse the Universe bends,

Kaleidoscope of color without beginning or end.

Seconds unfurl, pink petals falling after magnificent bloom,

Each one counted as surely as weaves on a loom.

... ---

Without my heart there are no feet,

By my very soul I'm easy to beat.

When it comes to wondering who, when, and why,

The only question left is...

-... --- .-. . -.. ..--..

What am I?
