Clown Time

Late limerick for International Clown Week

By Rain DayzePublished about a month ago 1 min read
Pinterest/AI image. I don't own the image.

Much to my surprise, August 1st-7th is International Clown Week. And for the life of me, I couldn't think of a more famous/infamous clown to write about than Pennywise the Dancing Clown from StephenKing's IT

Sorry it's later than usual,

Please enjoy!

Oh hiya kids. Don't I look fun?

My big ole smile and colorful paint doesn't make you want to run?

We'll laugh, dance and play,

Until our feet give away,

Or until our intestines come undone!
