Closure?

on this never ending path trying to seek closure

i need to know why he said “we are over”

because what we had, i thought was going so strong

all of the signs, how did i read them so wrong?

now i am so lost and confused…

my heart has been permanently bruised

he told me that we would be together forever

so why did he leave me for someone better?

driving myself crazy, looking around

i have so much to say and ask but he is nowhere to be found

he was finishing with me, i never was able to tell

because in my eyes everything was going so well

all of my flaws i am questioning

they leave without ever suggesting

has not even started, yet it is already over

never have i ever been granted closure

i still do not know what i am doing so wrong

why does no one stick around for long?

i am so sick of crying to sleep

because of these boys, who make promises that they cannot keep

the end of this path is not getting any closer

i have given up on ever finding my closure.
