Haikus on Climate Emergency
Earth:
Mined and spat upon,
Pyres high, are made way too tall,
A heart dead, so dull.

Water:
Our poor pale blue dot,
A fork can not drink you full,
Empty oceans, cruel.

Air:
Up and all around,
Invisible gasping crowd,
Dirty, poison now.

Fire:
Hotter and hotter
Flames furrowed our sinful brows,
The ashen rain fell.
