I can't stand that you walked away scot-free,

I know you don't give a damn.

I hate that I’ve turned the other way,

Because the old me would’ve bombarded you with messages,

Ranting and raging at you hypocrisy.

When will this fire inside me cool?

When will I move on? Do I even want to?

Why did you make me your target?

Why accuse me of stealing your card?

Why the lies?

Why couldn’t anyone just tell me to leave?

I don’t want you in my daughter’s life,

I don’t want you in mine.

Your callousness still stings,

And it’s probably a good thing I don’t know your email or social handles.

I hope your name trends for all the wrong reasons,

That you get dragged online,

And that karma comes knocking on your door.

I’m done pretending,

I’m so done trying to be positive.

How can I be positive for someone who hates me?
