Cirrostratus Clouds

Cirrostratus clouds above my head...

I swear I knew someday we'd meet again..

Where there are gaps, the Sun still peaks..

My metamorphosis remains incomplete..

I hopped off of my swing...

And lifted my head up to the sky..

Remembered that the moon changes phases without giving any explanations..

So why can't I?

Mother Nature gave us endless moonsons..

I thought the grasslands might've reached new heights..

Thus I took a visit to the praries...

And noticed that everything was still exactly the same..

There I stood, bamboozled..

Yet, still grateful for my Mother, my family and friends..

Optimistic, that tomorrow could be everything that I've ever wanted..

Happy to know that once upon a time we found love...

Even if we lost it..

As the Sun rays danced upon my skin once more..

I remembered that Rome was not built in a single day..

Perhaps I was wrong, maybe I am growing up after all..

Though I am still just as ambivalent as I was before...
