Fertile or barren
birth and playing field of life
receiver of death
Offspring from the sun
crackles the abandoned husk
shooting sparks like stars
First smothered then fed
with the whipping, swirling howl
heed this warning song
Drill down in torrents
heaving swell washes all clean
sob and sweet release
