My lips spark
And smolder
With dazzling
Desire to flame
With remarks
š„š„š„š„
Every attempt to
Exclaim in agony
Not even a flicker
Catches in the
Back of my
Parched crackling
Throat
š„š„š„š„
My mouth extends
A gaping cavern
Accepting
Scorching gusts
Of sand and dust
š„š„š„š„
Light filters through the
Heavy rain of sediment
Threatening to
Entomb and crush
Until the swirling inferno
Erupts at my heels
furrowed and blackened
š„š„š„š„
Spontaneously
Combustion
Consumes me
Physically
Spiritually
š„š„š„š„
Leaving two
Fuzzy black skids
In my wake
