Christmas night, after the feast

Eat all day. I now pay the price, like every year true story.

Christmas night after the feast

Christmas night, the feast is done,

A day of laughter, food, and fun.

Turkey, pudding, sweets galore,

I couldn’t help but eat some more.

Now the clock strikes late, I sigh,

The festive glow begins to die.

Tomorrow’s scales, my heart does dread,

A price to pay for how I’m fed.

Yet as I sit, content and still,

I cherish joy that food can’t fill.

For love and warmth, this day has brought,

Far outweigh what the scales have caught

I think I’ve put on at least a stone,

But that was no one’s fault, but my own.

I am greedy, that I do confess

After one glass of wine, my diets a mess

True story but pictures no me. My heads not that small 😜
