Christmas Eve Harmony

Traditions that Illuminate the Heart

By katyPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

On Christmas Eve, a hush descends,

As cherished traditions, time transcends.

Families gather 'neath twinkling lights,

In the glow of love, on festive nights.

Stockings hung with care by the chimney side,

Anticipation and joy, none can hide.

A feast prepared, aromas divine,

Traditions woven, a festive design.

Carols sung in harmonious delight,

Echo through the house, pure and bright.

A tale of old, by the fireplace told,

As memories made, in warmth, unfold.

Midnight nears, a solemn bell tolls,

Hearts aglow, as tradition consoles.

Gifts exchanged, a moment profound,

In the quietude, love is found.

Snowfall blankets the world outside,

A Christmas Eve enchantment, far and wide.

Embraced by tradition's comforting grace,

Eve's magic lingers, a timeless embrace.
