Christmas Eve Enchantment
A poem about Christmas Eve
In the hush of Christmas Eve, a silent night,
A blanket of stars casting soft light.
Snowflakes dance in the moonlit air,
Whispers of magic everywhere.
Stockings hung with care, by the chimney snug,
Awaiting St. Nick, a jolly, red-hooded lug.
The tree adorned with tinsel and gleaming strands,
Glimmering ornaments crafted by loving hands.
Families gather,
All hearts full of cheer,
The warmth of love drawing near.
Candles flicker, their flames aglow,
A symphony of carols, voices in tow.
*
Through frosty windows, a winter's embrace,
Nature joins the joy, in a delicate grace.
Children dream of presents and holiday delight,
As the world slumbers in the tranquil night.
In the glow of hearths, stories unfold,
Of miracles, legends, and tales of old.
Embraced by love, the spirit we retrieve,
On this enchanting night of Christmas Eve.
*
A time for reflection, a season so divine,
Where kindness and love like stars align.
May this eve bring joy, peace, and glee,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all, harmony.
