Choc bars are getting smaller yet prices are sky high

What’s going on your chocolate makers traitors

Choc bars are getting smaller yet prices are sky high

Why are chocolate bars getting smaller,
Yet prices are sky high?
I looked at one this morning,
And nearly started to cry.

Cadbury are the worse for it,
Each bar is far too small.
As for a glass and a half in every bar,
I cannot see that at all.

I opened up the wrapper,
And thought where has it gone?
There was more bloody wrapper there,
Than chocolate going on.

They say it is the cost of chocolate,
The cocoa beans are priced sky high.
But every time they shrink the bars,
I have to wonder why.

A bar once lasted ages,
You could sit and have a treat.
Now two bites and it has vanished,
There is nothing left to eat.

Soon they will sell an empty wrapper,
With a chocolate smell inside.
And tell us that is luxury,
With a price that makes you cry.

I do not want a family bar,
The size of half my thumb.
Give us back our chocolate,
And stop treating us like dumb.

Because chocolate is important,
When you fancy something sweet.
But at the rate these bars are shrinking,
We will soon just lick the sheet.

So listen all you chocolate makers,
I have something I must say.
Make the chocolate bars much bigger,
Or bring the prices down today.

Because one day I will open one,
And nothing will be there.
Just a tiny bit of chocolate dust,
And six foot of bloody air.
