Chimera Wedding

(a marriage of illusions)

A silver ring of sterling

Glinted like a diamond earring

And as the two stood, parted one

Into the nothingness of the sun

Exchange of words, sealed with a kiss

Moment caught, photo realistic burst

Flash that binds, but can not confine

Birth of flower from the muck

Two sides, reflected, daring

Marked a path, towards all, staring

Till the two, yea, become one

Gathering of all that is done

Song then rose, amongst the throng

I loved her till she was no more

Gave her away, at point of sway

Yea, yea, the two was one

Reverse of thy Kingdom come

Covenant, recognize the pun

Sift, through the golden scum

Yea, I watched two become one

Bitter flows, an arch, crowned was the sun

If only I were the two, now one

Still drunk on dinner and the sins that run

and run..

So beautiful is two as one
