Chilling with Tim

A long, long time ago...when the heavens were just forming - a beautiful baby boy was born

He was a strange little bundle, he never cried - but just stared intently at the alien creatures gathered around him, all blurred and beastly looking

If I ever find out who sent me here...I will give them what for...his stare seemed to say

As he grew, he would sit and ponder the great mountains in the distance

Planning and plotting his great escape...far away from the aliens

But then he began to write stories...and soon the mountains answered his silent yearnings

He wrote about how the green of the land soothed his sorrows

How the wind howled with the wolves as they ran in freedom through the woods

He walked alone, composing stories and poetry as the tree sprites hopped from branch to branch...encouraging and supporting his creativity

One day he met fellow thinkers composing as if upon the open air

They wrote, they pressed buttons, and magically...stories appeared

They invited him to join, just by pressing these strange keys

He found happiness in this magical place...where others too, joined him in this new pursuit

Now, it's his birthday...and he revels in the fact that his new friends will join him in celebrating his day

My, how time has flown...just yesterday he was a youth plotting to overthrow the strange earth beings

Now he has seen almost 60 moons come and go, realizing that he too - was a member of the unfathomable creatures who do not understand who they really are

But that is ok. The mystery of life is ours to decipher.

And together we will figure it out.
