Chicken

With feathers so soft and a cluck for a song,

The chicken roams free, all day long.

A creature of beauty, with a curious mind,

It pecks at the ground, one step at a time.

A symbol of farm life, and a taste so divine,

The chicken is a staple, and a part of our cuisine.

From sunrise to sunset, it works without rest,

Providing us eggs, that are truly the best.

With a wag of its tail and a tilt of its head,

The chicken reminds us, of the simple things to be fed.
