Chicago Poem
The elements as I saw them form in the Windy City

Wind breaks on the spires
of Chicago, and howls through
grey architecture.
//
Industrial flame burns
in the factory hearths
along three rivers.
//
Across the Great Lake
the Behemoth's Silhouette
of past and future.
//
Hulking Red Heart of
metropolitan progress
beats in nation's breast.
