An expected package with unknown content arrived today.

A Vocal Creator told me it would be coming; she made it.

I was overwhelmed by its beauty and her thoughtfulness as I read the note inside. Then, the television announced what a special day today was. I held out the gift to show my husband.

“Today is International Kindness Day, and my friend on Vocal made this for me! It's so beautiful!”

The yarn spoke to her; it whispered my name. Her talented, loving hands made it especially for me. Fate delivered it on International Kindness Day.

I will stay warm wearing it, and the colors will glow around my face. My new set fits perfectly, and I cherish this gift!

Thank you, L.K. 💕💕

Author Note: The kind artisan will know who she is when she reads this. I was unsure if it was okay to name her, but she can do so in the comments. I am truly grateful for the support and kindness of the writers and readers on Vocal. It has been difficult lately, and this gift lifted my spirits. I am slowly returning to Vocal, so please forgive me if I have not read your stories. Circumstances have overwhelmed me. You are all in my thoughts each day. 🫶 Andi
