Sometimes giving yourself some time to debrief,

And get away from the world’s chaos

Is all you need.

Life is so hectic that we need a break,

It doesn’t have to be a long vacation,

It can just be a change of scenery.

A challenge to do something new,

Or build on a skill.

Write down your thoughts, dreams, wishes,

And it doesn’t have to end there.

Treat yourself as life is short,

Do something that scares you,

Strike a conversation with a stranger,

For you may never know what could transpire.

Do something kind for a stranger,

Or reach out to a long lost friend.

We all have hidden battles,

Unity helps us through them.

If we don’t know how others feel,

How can we read their minds?

Challenge yourself,

Yet look after your well-being,

As we all face this world together.
