Like dangling keys or pockets of change
Chains dance all around me
Or dim into the howling wind
Moving through the Pine trees
Two shiny snakes spiral through the air
Like intertwined sheets right out of the wash
Then freeze into a glistening icicle
A pendant tower of steel water drops
Mixing of dominos and metallic rain
Indented ridges and dips
Like the decorative edges
Of a toasty empanada
Weaved like the seams of my clothing
Forming the unseen world before me.
