Cave Man And Woman Went Clubbing

Cave man and woman went clubbing one night,

Leaving their cave by the moon’s pale light,

Dressed in animal skins and a furry old hat,

Woman looked grand, cave man looked fat.

The music was loud and the lights flashed bright,

Nothing like mammoths they chased in their sight,

Cave man stood puzzled and scratched his head,

“Where are the drums made from buffalo hide?” he said.

Woman hit the dance floor quick as a flash,

Cave man followed with a stumble and crash,

He tripped on a speaker and landed with a yell,

Woman laughed so hard she nearly fell.

The DJ was playing the latest hit song,

Cave man kept grunting and singing along,

People all stared as he waved a big bone,

Thinking perhaps he’d come there alone.

At the bar he ordered dinosaur stew,

The barman just laughed and handed him brew,

Cave man looked puzzled and sniffed at the glass,

Then drank it all down and asked for a cask.

Woman was dancing with moves full of flair,

Cave man was swinging his club in the air,

Security rushed over looking alarmed,

Luckily nobody ended up harmed.

Near closing time they both felt beat,

Their aching feet begged for a seat,

The taxi arrived and off they sped,

Still laughing at everything they had said.

Back in the cave before sunrise came,

Both agreed clubbing was not quite the same,

Yet cave man smiled and gave a cheer,

our kind of clubbing is different my dear.
