A betrayal

Is that the start

Cause and effect cause and effect

She was my wife, who entrusted me

Cause then effect cause then effect

Infidelity

The choice to cheat

-

Loneliness begats loneliness

Without softening hurt

-

Shift it flip it turn it around,

does sympathy come forth

Guilt and loneliness

Z and a

-

Should I explain the why before the what

First then embrace the judgment

Or tell the fallout and the aftermath

The straight

The a to

B or even c

Dictates z

-

Breaks

With her heart and love, I coveted more

Does the linear

lend to my appraisal

Or the non-

linear

non

sequitur

Can you reframe the bad to lessen it

Or does it flow the same regardless

Is it merely a lense, my experience

Mindset

When does excuse and reason

Become inexcusable and unreasonable

-

I did the crime, morally at least

But is what drove me

The bits and pieces

That drove me to it

An explanation

An argument for sympathy?

-

Did I knowingly

Or was I simply driven by

desires or needs, sentiments

-

The reality

Oh the reality

Is a sharp reminder

If framed In the lens of my lacking

It's just my experience

-

Not the wronged

A different experience
