Castles
Sometimes I sit and ponder
And think about wondrous castles.
I prance and dance about the halls
And ask my thoughts how they think.
The castle of my mind is marvelous.
Full of rippling ideas that demand attention.
Time’s palace is always ticking and tocking.
Tick
Tock
Goes the clock.
Fire’s palace is always burning
Brighter
Brighter still
Goes the candle’s flame.
The arch of imagination hangs upon my head
Wherever I stand.
Dark, grey, light thoughts
Fill my mind palace
With thoughts about castles.
