Cashmere Woods

Ode to an Air Freshener

By Greg WilcoxPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Cashmere Woods

A 4 second spray of from heaven.

I have always craved the fresh sweep of autumn leaves in October.

The sound, the feeling of the crumble in my hands.

The sweet smell of fresh washed fleece and cashmere,

And an oven of muffin filled baking pans,

Brings moments of nostalgia that fills my year.

A long day of work is supported by the aromatherapy of a misting air freshener.

A moment I wait for all day. No matter moment or season,

I can count on the smell of sugared sandalwood and petrichor

To bring my day to cohesion.

The scent of cashmere woods holds a bit of fantasy to my thoughts.

It glimmers a sense of safety in my imagination of the past

A feeling of absolute relax, thankfully...

At long last, with a 4 second spray from heaven.
