Drowning in sorrow

Just a moment ago

I was standing at the seashore,

Or was I floating in my own emotions?

There was storm in my heart

And ongoing battle in my mind,

Sinking me deeper down,

Drowning in sorrow,

I was being strangled by my own thoughts,

And when the pain blurred,

I didn’t even realized,

I was carrying my own bones…

About the Creator

Piku - fragments_of_me🌻

I write when my heart is too full and my mind too restless. Words may not always come out perfect, but they are raw, real, and mine. Through poetry and prose, I try to capture what I feel, hoping someone, somewhere, might feel it too.
