Carry the Sparrow

Spill the Blood

I aim for the throat

When lips quiver

And tender sentiments rise

IN LIQUID RIVERS

When shallow breaths take

A form of disguise

Under the guise of hate

Malice arises

When pretenses go unnoticed

By the whom-you-echo

It is glorious when I feel

The harbinger explode

.

I cry a river of tears

When we fear the let go

Let me explain the way of the Path

In glorious expo

It’s up the stream, past the trees

You know the way in your feet

If only you forget to keep

The trail on repeat

Come on blood, seep

Seep for the reap

Of a harvest so plenty it boasts a reprieve

Trails of blood pool in my veins

Don’t strain or refrain

From the pain of the gain

If we keep going now

Won’t it be delightful?

If we carry the sparrow it won’t be so frightful

 .

I wish it were, here and now

Trace the beat on repeat

A foolish vow

Come aloud and cry

Sigh and rely

Come around close

And I won’t be the guy

If you whisper and cry

I’ll pardon the lie

Where we trace the burnt ashes

In splendid reply
