is our mind
the enemy
is tireless
in his quest
he traps us
snaps us
claps us
into performing
isn't life grand?

he loves to see you fake it
and he hopes that
you don't make it
he's banking on your
doubts and fears
and loves to see those
heartbreak tears
Here's a secret..
there is a way
to kick him
to the curb
catch the bad thoughts
when they start
and tell the devil
to just "DEPART"
every time and every place
put your trust all
in God's Grace.
