For the funkies

There is something about the groove,
Of a freaky, funky song.
The percussion begging limbs to move.
The heartbeat bass strong.
Just a disco with a slower stance
Aided by a resting note.
A chance to hypnotically dance,
Let liquid limbs loosely float.
Here, discover a hidden place,
That transforms time to junk.
Taking the listener to inner space,
Capturing the soul by funk.
