Capsule

Her Emptiness

By Amelia NoriegaPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Her nose will drain

And she will die

And all that she had kept inside,

The creatures of beauty that swam withen,

Have poisoned and leached out of her skin.

In the end she is empty,

Echoes heard from inside,

All those things of beauty were known to be lies.

Lies: forever held within,

Until she had no choice but to make them her friends.

Her lilly bloomed everlasting,

Her body, spirit, mind are fasting.

Now she is drained but I am free,

To begin again

From empty me.
