Canyon,
Red, Orange, Brown,
Sunset on the escapade,
Small and wide,
far and large,
Independent of human touch,
those who venture,
don't find much,
It's a mystery,
To how to get there,
but one thing's for certain,
the one wrong turn leads to new expectations,
explorations,
contemplations,
fascinations,
along the twisty canyon road,
that leads to somewhere,
nearby and nowhere,
nearby and nowhere,
and yet somewhere,
perhaps familiar,
perhaps strange,
perhaps old,
perhaps new,
perhaps natural,
perhaps created by forces unknown,
unknown and unbenownkst,
carved like silk and sandstone,
smooth like a chisel,
patterns like a piece of pottery
but this unfamiliar place,
by a river that we could call the Colorado,
has a ambiance to it that,
even the coyotes,
when they howl,
when they sing,
and shout,
find strange,
for it is a place that is grand,
it's a canyon of magnifiance,
it's a wonderous gap,
a small stop,
but this place has charm,
elequence,
splendor,
and the canyon will continue,
for millions,
of years,
diamonds,
will persist,
and the canyon will survive,
and all there will be will be diamonds of a former memory of a canyon in a place called Arizona U.S.A
