Peace and love for us two forever
Candles Shall Carry a Wish
Candles shall carry a wish tonight
Tiny flames glowing soft and bright
Each flicker dances against the dark
Holding dreams within its spark
The room grows still as shadows sway
While whispered hopes begin to pray
Every candle softly burns
For something every heart still yearns
Some wish for healing after pain
Some pray for sunshine after rain
Others long for lost love’s touch
Or simply to stop hurting so much
The wax keeps falling slowly down
Like silent tears without a sound
Still the flame continues strong
Refusing to believe all hope is gone
Candles carry what words cannot say
The hidden ache we hide away
A fragile light through endless night
Still searching for what feels right
So let the candles brightly glow
For dreams the wounded hearts still know
And may each wish rise high above
Guided gently by faith and love
