Camouflage

A poem about changing colors and words.

By Rhett MillerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I change colors

Almost as fast

As the words that

Come from my mouth.

Going from the

Colorless to

A multitude

Of different hues.

I speak my truth

Forming prisms

Of syntax and

Contradictions.

With colors that

Reflect my thoughts

And words carrying

My emotions.

I’m a constant

That is changing

Polarities

With every word

Letting others

Influence my

Magnetism

Pulling spirits

I exist on the

Color spectrum

Leaping from one

Color to grey

Words are just my

Colors and I’m

Painting my soul

A masterpiece

surreal poetry
