Came here to cry

But the wind cheered me

Fresh breeze blowing up a gale

Waves breaking at the sand bar

Shrimp darting in a rock pool

As if to say

It’s okay

Came here to cry

But the foaming sea saved me

Gave me reason to reflect

On mother nature’s bounty

Broad horizon encompass

The world around me

Sixteen compass points

Show sunrise and sunset

East to west

Over the same sea

Why worry over human care

When such beauty as is yours

Is there to guide me

Inspire me

Came here to cry

But your love warmed me
