your fingers
know my body
but you do not call
on my birthday.
your tongue
knows mine
but you do not know
the words i speak.
your soul
has touched me
but you only got
skin deep.
do you know the dreams
i dream,
the world i see -
the way the stars cry
while i wait for you,
always waiting.
do you know the longing
i feel
the way the oceans
run deep,
waves crashing -
always crashing.
you know how
i make you feel
(good)
but it seems -
that is all
you wish to know.
call me.
