Call Me Happy

Call me Happy,

for I know no other name at present.

I used to think

that such a name could only be found

in fairytales or children's stories

or within the novels with happy endings.

Every character has the right to call themselves

what I call myself now:

Happy.

Knowing the meaning would take too much work.

Diving into what Happy means would be too silly

of a quest.

I choose to call myself Happy,

not because I fully believe in it,

but because I know that it is opposite to Sad.

For, to call myself Sad,

would only ask for rain clouds to appear.

The sunshine clears all.

Thus, my name is Happy

and by that name I shall live.
