Calamity in Totality

once again, my frustration with mainstream media is acting up

Something’s gotta change

Flicking on the tv and all I see is bloody faces

Other disgraceful faces belittling anguish

talking about proportionality when in reality

they’re perpetuating that fallacy

laying down brick walls of misused reason

to shroud the true meaning of humanity and cleaving

empathy with weaponry of slick talking over grieving

for the loss of life

-

The veil is lifting on the truth

Lies told with straight faces to produce

fear while they’re concealing the past

and telling us to “think fast

there is no time to read and rehash

this is immediate and we need to react

But how can we ignore the blasts

shredding their reality in half

splitting families and hospital staff

destroying everything until it’s ash?

-

Degrading human life

reducing it to some small strife

like thousands haven’t lost their lives

but its okay, since its “self-defence”

Once again here comes proportionality

rationalising morality

mortality

producing fallacies to excuse their brutality

Calamity in totality

This is great, I was having a discussion with my good friend the other day about exactly this. Well done!

"splitting families and hospital staff" did me in 😣

  • This hurt my heart so much. I just don't understand and never will understand the need for war.

Well said, Mohammed! I think Anneliese's comment is pretty much on track with my feelings.

Well done, MD... humanity must find other ways than war, and most of us want this. But the media has become a branch of the government and those powers that profit over war💙Anneliese
