I read Somewhere
Sometime ago, a question
A question that resonated deep within me
It was like, it was placed there for me.
"Why does a caged bird sing?"
It's difficult to answer
But I think i know.
It's silly my answer
But it's the reason i go on
Being enclosed i should know
That hope is the reason
for living, singing, dancing to the rhythm
Hope for a lost soul
Broken to become whole
And a Caged bird.
Steel bars
Can never hold hope back
Hope Shows you beyond
It gives you a reason
And to me
That the biggest reason to smile
to Sing, to dance, and feel
Freedom in your grasp.
