There must be something in this city
lighting the fire that spits within me.
I'll wait to be found,
I'll wait to be found.
Eyes are wide but feet are heavy,
surviving off of a caffiene heartbeat.
It's dragging me down
It's dragging me down.
Hands upon the kitchen counter,
broken fingers attached by metal wire.
Leaking from my dismantled figure,
the water that puts out my internal fire -
not making a sound,
not making a sound.
Eyes are wide but days are blurry,
barely surviving, I need some mercy.
I'm stuck on the ground,
I'm stuck on the ground.
