Can’t sleep

Too much coffee,

wide awake

five hours away

from my next day,

sleep taunts me

through my husband’s snores.

Meanwhile, my tired mind

spins and spirals

repeating every shitty thing

said about me to my face

and behind my back.

I fucking hate that frigid bitch

and her eighth grade attitude.
