Based Upon a True Story

Here goes a story for anyone listening

Authority bores me like a placebo prescription

Fear if my diction is real or fiction

Hit me up for a subscription

Our lives are films and learning lessons

Picture this scene i've written counting my blessings

Back livin in los angeles with only a handful of possessions

Didnt fucking plan for this, but found peace in these confessions

“Once you lose everything, you are free to do anything” x2

My future seems unforeseen

In the past I was gettin/ flippin green

Visions are easily seen, hard to foresee, but easier clean

I have a pair of reeboks, but no socks

Labron’s at the homies crib feeling like a fuckin baby without a bib

Damn, I am glad for this pen and notepad because people robbing to survive makes me sad

I am damn glad for this guitar too and to look up at the stars dreaming of you

Thank god I still have homies and family I will be staying with my brother

People are not as mad at me as they used to be, including my mother

You can steal any material goal, but you can never steal my soul

Said, you can steal any material goal, but never my soul
