It whispers

BEEP

It screams

Why is it so mad at me?

It’s energy all consuming yet distant

Not sure how to define it’s existence

Am I this feeling?

Do we have commonalities?

In a limbo of disearning pleads

It understands me

Yet I have to read its energized brail

Comprehension failed

It’s signals are demanding

I ask what is the appeal

Of getting through

If interference is the real

Fake annoyance in the trill

Causing problems

But it doesn’t care

Inconvenient

You’re at a loss and so

electricity becomes the petty thrill

With levitating hair you will

Escape the fate you shouldn’t have desired in the first place

Whether it’s a buzz or a muted power

The tension builds

So you cower

It’ll hault you

and you’ll get tired

Of it doing what you don’t want it to do

If it’s reaching over your ambition

to the point it causes you a conniption

It will stay stagnant

Yet poised

It’ll laugh at you with rhythmic noise

It’ll ignite a new wisdom

That you can’t always beat the system

Just because you can see & hear the critic

Doesn’t mean you deserve the answers it has hidden

And if those are of life or death

Then practice hell because that’s what will become home

There’s nothing on the other side

They couldn’t hear you from the start

Deafened signals can’t alarm

Therefore the end is yours

Connection is protection

and you lost it

It’s the sound and sense of rejection

It taught you

That you will bare your future expression

Sculpted by patience

Desperation

And presence

Maybe you’ll get lucky

Maybe you’ll succeed

Reaching for the stars

The spark is finally keen

Shockingly you’ll transmit

For you’ll become the machine
